Food Preparation – Always read the label

When purchasing prepared foods, read the label! Some labels print the word “salt” in large letters. Others are deceptive as they say, “Lightly seasoned with salt.” Still others say, “Benzoate of soda” which is a sodium-containing preservative added to foods. So read the label if you want to improve your health on a slat-free eating plan.
