Grape-Flavored Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

 

2 1/2 lbs broiler chicken, cut into serving-size pieces

1 cup water

2 tbsp finely chopped fresh onion

3/4 tsp ground thyme

1/8 tsp finely chopped fresh garlic

4 tsp arrowroot powder

4 tsp water

1 cup seedless grapes

 

Method:

  • Place chicken pieces in baking dish.

  • Add water.

  • Combine onion, thyme and garlic; add to chicken.

  • Bake, uncovered, in preheated moderate oven (350oF) about 90 minutes or until chicken is tender.

  • Remove chicken to a serving dish.

  • Now thicken arrowroot powder and water.

  • Add grapes and let steam for 5 minutes.

  • Serve over chicken.
