Jellied Ginger Pear Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

 

2 cups pear halves

2 envelopes unflavored gelatin

1/2 cup orange juice

1/4 cup boiling water

4 tbsp honey

2 tsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp ground ginger

 

Method:

  • Soften gelatin in orange juice; dissolve in boiling water and add honey until blended.

  • Pour boiling water and honey over pear halves, add ginger.

  • Now place ginger-flavored pears in serving dish, pour heated gelatin mixture over the pears.

  • Let cool.

  • Chill in the refrigerator until set.

  • A naturally sweet dessert for those who are afraid of sweet desserts!
