Preparation for Freezing

a) For unbaked and general:

Pack unbaked dough in freezer containers; seal and label. Not recommended for freezing: Meringue-type cookies.

 

b) For refrigerator cookies:

Shape unbaked dough into a roll. Wrap in moisture-vaporproof material.

 

c) For baked, general:

Bake as usual; cool. Pack in containers with waxed paper between layers.

 

How to Serve:

 

a) For unbaked and general:

Thaw in container at room temperature till dough is soft. Bake as usual.

 

b) For refrigerator cookies:

Thaw slightly. Slice roll; bake.

 

c) For baked, general:

Thaw in package at room temperature.

 

Storage Time:

a) For unbaked and general:

6 months

 

b) For refrigerator cookies:

6 months

 

c) For baked, general:

6 to 12 months
