as a 1-cup glass measure, and snip it with kitchen shears.

To substitute fresh herbs for dried, use
three times more of the fresh herb.

To freeze fresh herbs, wash young tender
leaves thoroughly in several changes of cool water.

Pat the leaves dry with paper toweling.

Seal small amounts of the leaves in
freezer bags, foil, or clear plastic wrap.

Staple all packages of the same herb to
cardboard; label and freeze.
