Using A Pastry Bag

  • This flexible cone-shaped bag, often fitted with a fancy tip, can be filled with frosting or whipped cream for decorating foods.

  • The bag also can be filled with a soft dough to form various shapes for baking.

  • Neatly fill the pastry bag by folding back the top of the bag about 1 1/2 inches.

  • Spoon the desired mixture into the bag, filling it only about two-thirds full.

  • Unfold the top, twist closed, and squeeze to release the contents.
