Ingredients:
8 pears, pared, cored and in halves
1/2 cup peanut flour
1 tsp grated lemon rind
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp mace
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1/3 cup grated cheese
Method:

Place pears in shallow 2-quart
casserole.

Combine peanut flour, lemon rind, and
spices; pour in vegetable oil.

Sprinkle over pears.

Now combine water and lemon juice and
pour over pears.

Bake in moderate oven (350oF)
from 12 to 15 minutes, or until tender.

Top with grated cheese and broil until
cheese is bubbly and brown.
