Strawberry Chiffon Dessert Mold Recipe

Ingredients:

 

1 envelope unflavored gelatin

1/4 cup cold water

2 cups strawberries, crushed

1 tsp grated lemon rind

1/3 cup lemon juice

3 egg whites

 

Method:

  • Soften gelatin in cold water.

  • Combine crushed berries, lemon rind, and lemon juice; blend well.

  • Dissolve softened gelatin over hot water.

  • Blend into berry mixture.

  • Chill until mixture begins to set.

  • Add egg whites and beat until mixture is foamy.

  • Pour into a lightly oiled, 1-quart mold.

  • Chill until set.
