Ingredients:
1 quart water
1/2 cup blackstrap molasses
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup cold-pressed sesame oil
2 tbsp sea salt
3 lbs whole hard wheat flour
1 melted yeast cake
1 cup carob powder
Method:
Heat water until lukewarm, 80oF.
Pour off 1/2 cup; add yeast and 2
tablespoons honey.
Let stand until dissolved
Now add 1/4 cup honey, molasses, sesame
oil, and dissolved yeast to remaining lukewarm water.
Add about half of the flour.
Mix well.
Stir in carob powder.
Add more and more flour to make a stiff
dough.
Knead sufficiently.
Let stand until risen in size.
Puncture and bake 350oF about
60 minutes.
