Farm-Taste Whole Wheat Bread Recipes

Ingredients:

 

4 cups warm water

3 tbsp vegetable oil

4 tbsp raw sugar

1 1/2 tbsp sea salt

2 packages dry yeast

3 cups whole wheat flour

2 cups graham flour

1 cup soy flour

5 cups unbleached white flour

 

Method:

  • Pour the water, oil, yeast, sugar and salt into a large mixing bowl.

  • Stir in the white, graham, and soy flour, mixing well.

  • Add the whole wheat flour a little at a time until ready to knead on board.

  • Knead well.

  • Place in oiled bowl, cover and set aside to rise.

  • When double its size knead again and return to bowl.

  • When double, remove and shape into 4 large loaves.

  • Cover and let rise until higher than pans.

  • Bake at 350oF about 1 hour.
