Low-Calorie Gluten Bread Recipes

This bread is a boon for the low-starch bread lovers. It is rich in protein.

 

Ingredients:

 

1 cup lukewarm water

1 tsp sea salt

1 tbsp active dry yeast

2 tbsp brewer's yeast

2 1/2 cups gluten flour

 

Method:

  • Place the water, salt and yeast in mixing bowl and beat in the flour.

  • Knead for about 15 minutes.

  • Return to bowl, cover and let rise.

  • When double in bulk, shape into loaf, cover and let rise again.

  • Bake at 350oF about 45 minutes.

  • This is a wonderful low-calorie bread for those who are figure conscious.
