Soybean Bread Recipes

Ingredients:

 

1 1/2 cups soy flour

2 cups whole what flour

2 cups unbleached white flour

2 cups warm water

2 yeast cakes

2 tbsp natural raw sugar

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1 tbsp sea salt

1 tbsp lecithin

 

Method:

  • Put all but flours into a mixing bowl.

  • Dissolve the yeast and stir in the soy, whole wheat, and unbleached white flour.

  • Turn out on board and knead well.

  • Place in an oiled bowl and over.

  • Let rise until double its size.

  • Return to board and knead well.

  • Place in bowl, cover and let rise until double its size, then form into laves and let rise until double its size.

  • Makes 2 large loaves or 2 small ones.

  • Bake for 1 hour at 350oF.
