Candy-Flavored Carrots Recipe

Ingredients:

 

8 medium-size carrots

6 tbsp raw sugar or honey

2 tbsp vegetable oil

 

Method

  • Pare or scrape carrots and halve or quarter lengthwise.

  • Cook until tender.

  • Heat sugar and oil in heavy skillet; add drained carrots and simmer gently over low heat, turning occasionally until carrots are well coasted with this glazed mixture.

  • Has a piquant, sweet taste that will make carrot-eating a sheer joy.
