Ingredients:
1 pint cooked prunes
1 cup
prune juice
1/2 cup
raw sugar or honey
2 tsp
lemon juice
1/4 tsp
almond flavoring
1/4 tsp
ground cinnamon
2 tbsp
arrowroot powder
Method

Wash prunes.

Soak over
night in cold water.

In the
morning, pit on stove in the water they soaked in.

Simmer
until tender, then let them cool.

Cut prunes
in half and remove stones.

Put 3/4
cup of the juice on the stove.

When it
comes to a boil, thicken with the arrowroot powder moistened with
remaining 1/4 cup of juice.

Cook up
well.

Remove
from the fire.
-
Add the
sugar or honey, pitted prices, and all other ingredients.

Then put
in the baked pastry
shell.

The top
may be covered, after it gets cold, with yogurt.
