4 cups milk
6 eggs
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup carob powder (tastes richer than chocolate and is a root product)
Method
Scald milk.
Add a small amount to carob and mix into smooth paste.
Add hot milk.
Now combine honey and vanilla to slightly beaten eggs.
Stir milk and carob mixture into eggs and bake at moderate temperature as individual custards.
This has the rich taste of chocolate yet is all-natural.
