Ingredients:
1/3 cup
vegetable oil
1 cup
water
2 tbsp raw
sugar
1 tsp sea
slat
3 cups
rolled oats
Method

Stir the
oil, water, sugar and salt together.

Add oats a
little at a time.

This makes
a stiff dough.

Pat out
between waxed paper.

Cut with
biscuits cutter, having dough about 1/2-inch thick.

Place on
oiled cookie sheet and bake 45 minutes at 350oF.

These are
delicious when hot from the oven.
-
Although
not exceptionally light, they bring back taste memories of
old-fashioned beaten biscuits.
