Captain's Table Planked Fish Recipes

Ingredients

1 dressed fish, 3 lbs

2 tbsp oil

seasoned, hot mashed potatoes

seasoned, hot cooked vegetables

vegetized salt

 

Method

  • Clean, wash, and dry fish.

  • Sprinkle inside with salt.

  • Place fish on a preheated, oiled plank or well-oiled bake 'n' serve platter.

  • Brush fish with oil.

  • Bake in moderate oven, 350oF for 45 to 60 minutes or until fish flakes when fork-tested.

  • Remove from oven and arrange the hot mashed potatoes and several hot cooked vegetables around fish.
