Matterhorn Steak

Ingredients:

 

1 1/2 lbs.  Lean beef

1/4 cup  Whole wheat flour

1 teaspoon  Marjoram

1  Onion

1  Garlic

1/4 cup  Lime juice

1 1/2 tablespoons  vegetable oil

1/2 teaspoon  Summer savory

Pinch of kelp

 

 

Method:

  • Mix whole wheat flour and kelp, pound this into the steak.

  • Now heat vegetable oil in skillet.

  • Add crushed garlic and minced onion.

  • Now brown the floured steak on both sides in this skillet.

  • Spreads herbs over meat, pour over this steak the lime juice and if desired 2 cups water, heat to boiling point.

  • Place in Dutch oven, cover, let bake in oven about 2 hours.

  • Baste frequently.

  • If necessary, add a little more liquid.
