Simple Lamb Stew Recipes

Ingredients

2 lbs boneless shoulder or neck of lamb, sliced in pieces

1 green pepper, seeded and diced

2 small peeled potatoes

3 diced carrots

3 stalks celery, cut

4 tbsp peanut oil

1/4 cup chopped parsley

1/2 tsp thyme

1/2 tsp marjoram

 

Method

  • Brown meat in peanut oil; add minced onion.

  • Cover with boiling water.

  • Let simmer in kettle about 2 hours or until tender.

  • About 1 hour before stew is done, add all vegetables and herbs.

  • This is the greatest way of transforming simple lamb stew into a magnificent repast!
