Festive Fruitarama Recipe

Ingredients:

 

1 cup raisins

2 sticks cinnamon

1 small lemon, sliced

1 cup freshly squeezed fruit juice

1 banana

 

Method:

  • Place raisins, cinnamon bark, and lemon in kettle.

  • Cover with cold water.

  • Cook about 20 minutes.

  • Remove lemon slices from boiling mixture.

  • Stir often to keep raisins from sticking.

  • Add fruit juice and let simmer just 1 minute.

  • Remove, put in cup, and serve with sliced banana on top.

  • Makes a terrific ice-cold cooler in hot weather.
