New England Nautical Invigorator Soup Recipe

Ingredients:

 

1 cup chopped green onions

3 cups cubed raw potatoes

1 cup fresh green peas

2 cups water

1 tbsp chopped parsley

1 tsp celery seed

2 tbsp vegetable oil

2 cups milk or soy milk

 

Method:

  • Cook onions, potatoes, celery seed, and oil together until almost done, in the water.

  • Then add peas and parsley.

  • When peas are done, turn off heat.

  • Add milk.

  • Stir.

  • Turn heat to low flame and heat but do not boil.

  • A hardy soup that serves to invigorate and helps you last for most of the afternoon.

  • Makes a great nourishing midday digestive tonic. All natural, too!
