Orange Ice Bouillon Recipe

Ingredients:

 

1 tbsp unflavored gelatin

1 tbsp water

1 1/2 cups orange juice

1/3 cup raw sugar

1 tbsp lime or lemon juice

3 oranges

1 tbsp grape juice

 

Method:

  • Soak gelatin in water about 5 minutes.

  • Heat 1 cup orange juice, add gelatin and stir until dissolved.

  • Stir in raw sugar and strain.

  • Add remaining orange juice and lime or lemon juice.

  • Chill.

  • When mixture starts to congeal, beat with a wire whisk.

  • Do this several times.

  • Now cut oranges in halves; scoop out pulp and chop fine.

  • Combine with the orange gelatin and add grape juice.

  • Before serving, beat thoroughly.

  • Serve in bouillon cups and garnish with orange sections and mint sprigs.
