Swiss Alps Tureen Recipe

Ingredients:

 

1/2 cup natural, brown rice

2 cups water

1 small onion

1 potato

2 cups milk

1 egg yolk

1/2 tsp whole grain flour

Seasoning for taste

 

Method:

  • Boil rice in water; add onion and potato.

  • When well done, add milk and bring mixture to a boil.

  • Beat egg yolk well, mixing it with the flour, and stir it into the boiling soup.

  • Heat to just the bubbly point and serve.
