Mashed Pea Roast Recipes

Ingredients

 

2 cups of mashed green peas

1 egg

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1 tbsp diced onion

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 cup whole grain bread crumbs

3 tbsp cream (or evaporated milk)

1/2 cup vegetable bouillon

 

Method

  • Mix all ingredients together and then bake in a n oiled casserole for 45 minutes at 350oF.

  • Just one whiff of the cooking aroma and the family will insist it is a meat roast!
