Thanksgiving Health "Turkey" Recipes

Ingredients

 

1 1/2 cups chick peas (garbanzos) finely chopped

1/4 cup bouillon soup

2 cups cooked brown rice

1/2 tsp celery seed powder

1/2 tsp vegetized salt

2 tsp onion powder

1/2 cup finely diced bread crumbs, whole grain

1/4 cup chopped nutmeats

 

Method

  • Mix together all ingredients, shape into "turkey" slices, and place on oiled baking sheet.

  • Sprinkle slightly with paprika.

  • Bake 60 minutes at 375oF in the oven or until brown.
