Golden Peachy Poultry Recipe

Ingredients:

 

2 2 1/2 lb fryer chickens, cut up

1/4 cup peach juice or syrup

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp soya sauce

2 tbsp vegetable oil

8 peach halves

 

Method:

  • Arrange chicken pieces in single layer in a shallow roasting pan.

  • Combine peach juice, lemon juice, and soya sauce.

  • Pour over chicken.

  • Dot with vegetable oil.

  • Bake in moderate oven (375oF) about 1 1/2 hours.

  • About 30 minutes before chicken is done, place peach halves around it and let it continue cooking.

  • Serve chicken garnished with tangy, flavor-delivering peaches.
