Low-Fat Steak Supreme Recipe

Ingredients:

 

2 lbs trimmed sirloin steak or 4 beef fillets, 1 inch thick

2 tbsp corn oil

2 tbsp finely chopped onion

8 large mushrooms, sliced

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar and 1/4 cup water

Juice of 1/2 lemon

1 tbsp minced parsley

 

Method:

  • Steam meat on both sides in corn oil.

  • Remove; keep warm.

  • Steam onions and mushrooms in vegetable oil until tender.

  • Add vinegar-water mixture and desired seasonings.

  • add lemon juice and pour over meat.

  • Let simmer 10 minutes and serve with the tantalizing aroma.
