Slimming Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients:

 

2 tsp unflavored gelatin

2 tsp cold skim milk

3/4 cup skim milk

1/4 cup berry juice

1 cup nonfat dry milk

1 cup water

1 tbsp lemon juice

 

Method:

  • Sprinkle gelatin over the 2 tablespoons of cold milk to soften.

  • Heat the 1 cup of skim milk, but do not let boil.

  • Add berry juice.

  • Stir in gelatin.

  • Cool and refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.

  • Combine dry skim milk with water and lemon juice.

  • Whip until stiff.

  • (Use rotary beater, electric mixer, or blender. Takes from 8 to 10 minutes but it's worth the time because it creates a superlative low-calorie can sugar-free ice cream that is rich and good and slimming.)

  • Fold into first mixture, pour into refrigerator trays and freeze until firm.
