Red And Green Favorite Fare Recipe

Ingredients:

 

2 large, ripe avocados

1 medium-size red onion

2 cups alfalfa sprouts (sold at health stores)

4 large lettuce leaves

 

Method:

  • Lay crisp lettuce on individual salad plates.

  • Cut each avocado in half and remove skin.

  • Slice red onion into thin rings.

  • Lay several rings of onion on each lettuce leaf.

  • Sprinkle sprouts over onion rings,.

  • Place half of an avocado on each plate and serve as a vitamin-packed, uncooked main dish.
