and soak for 48 hours.

Combine 1 part kernels, 2 parts pitted
dates, 1 part raisins, and 1 part figs; put through food mill.

Into mixture, work carob meal
(chocolate-tasting flour sold at health food stores) and roll to 1
inch thickness.

Cut into slices.

Set out in hot sunshine until dry,
about about 4 to 5 hours.
