Sea Slaw Recipe

Ingredients:

 

1 1/2 lbs fish fillets

1 quart boiling water

1 tbsp sea salt

1/4 cup low-calorie salad dressing (mayonnaise type)

2 tbsp chopped onion

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp celery salt

1 cup shredded green cabbage

1 cup shredded red cabbage

6 lettuce cups

lemon wedges

 

Method:

  • Place fillets in boiling water.

  • Cover and simmer about 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily when fork-tested.

  • Drain.

  • remove skin and bones; flake.

  • Combine salad dressing, onion, lemon juice, sea salt and celery salt, and fish.

  • Chill at least 1 hour to blend flavors.

  • Add cabbage and toss lightly.

  • Serve in lettuce cups.

  • Serve with lemon wedges.

  • Serves 6.

  • About 120 calories in each servings.
